Hi, I'm Katie. I like stationery, glitter, sparkly dresses, hearts, love, and bracelets. I write songs. I listen to All Time Low, Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Mayday Parade, and Keith Urban. I think Jack Barakat is incredibly sexy. I bake all the time. I idolize Marie Antoinette and Blair Waldorf. My best friend's name is Darcy. I watch Doctor Who, NCIS, and Rizzoli & Isles like it's my job. I love my OTPs. I love Harry Potter. My friend Christine gives me lots of pretentious literature to read. I like old movies. Feel free to talk to me or just browse around my blog, I'd absolutely love to get to know you.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone out there! My name is Katie. I am a college student who freaks out over stationery, glitter, sparkly dresses, guitars, hearts, Marc Jacobs, and daisies. I write songs. I write about everything; love, the boys who sit next to me in class, my friendships, my family, everything. I write songs like some people breathe. I released a full-length album titled Katie Cole on December 3rd, 2010. It’s probably only sold about 60 or so copies but I was freaking out about even that amount. I write boys’ names into my songs sometimes and that probably freaks them out a little. Before I perform anywhere, I draw a tiny heart on my hand. Whenever hearts have shown up somewhere, something good has always happened to me. They’re lucky for me, I guess.

I listen to so many different bands and artists, it’s a bit weird when you look at them all together; All Time Low, Taylor Swift, Mayday Parade, Keith Urban, Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, The Band Perry, We Are The In Crowd, The Beatles, Jefferson Airplane, He Is We, Grateful Dead, Frank Sinatra, Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, The Ready Set, Paradise Fears, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church. I’m clearly a big country music fan.

I think Jack Barakat is incredibly sexy. Thus, my blog will probably have a ton of him on it. Along with sexual innuendos underneath his photos. Men that I would also drop my pants for probably include Joe Anderson, Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Michael Weatherly, Hugh Laurie. Yeah, I’m aware that they’re all incredibly older than me.

Blair Waldorf and I are extremely similar. Similar in that we both idolize Marie Antoinette (both the historical figure and how Kirsten Dunst portrayed her), have a soft spot for macarons, love anything sweet, have very similar style, and absolutely, without a doubt, adore Audrey Hepburn.

That being said, I’m a huge classic movie fan. Some of my favorite Audrey movies include: Two for the Road, How to Steal A Million, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Sabrina, and Funny Face. Some of my favorite non-Audrey movies include: To Have and Have Not, Bringing Up Baby, High Sierra, Bonnie and Clyde, White Christmas, and The Philadelphia Story.

I have a wonderful best friend, Darcy, who is the Serena to my Blair, the Alex to my Jack, the George to my Fred, and the Carrie to my Charlotte. Find her here.

I watch Doctor Who and NCIS like it’s my job. I adore these shows and am way too emotionally invested in them but that’s why I love them. My very good friend Christine got me into Doctor Who a little less than a year ago. Christopher Eccleston is my Doctor. I absolutely love this show now and I can never thank Christine enough for getting me into it. I started watching NCIS with my mom on the first episode of season 3. I was mad because I wanted to watch CSI re-runs and my mom said her show was on at 8 so we couldn’t. I stayed and watched NCIS with her and fell in love. I’ve been a loyal fan of the show ever since (and yes, I did watch the first two seasons after season 3 ended), and I will always, always love and watch it. You can find my ships for these shows here.

After I graduate college, I plan on moving to New York City to work in fashion. I’m currently studying International Business / Marketing, and so hopefully I will be able to get a job once I move there. I plan on living in an apartment with three girls who mean the world to me: Darcy, Justine, and Melanie. Ever since I was seven years old and took my first trip to Grand Central Station and the city itself, I knew I belonged there and had to live there. This isn’t some pipe dream. I will be making it happen, and I hope you can watch me do it.

You can always talk to me, I love to meet new people and fangirl with others, etc.! Drop me something in my ask, or just reply to one of my posts. Either way, I will love getting to know you :)

Alright, congratulations if you’ve read the whole thing, that was a lot. But I love it if you did.

I can’t wait to know you!
